There are many issues facing our community, but as your representative, I have identified several key priorities that I believe require immediate attention

Sustainable Growth
Johnny is committed to guiding responsible growth in Hays County by balancing economic development with the preservation of our natural resources. He supports transparent, community-driven planning to ensure progress strengthens our quality of life rather than compromising it.

Affordability
Johnny will fight to keep Hays County affordable for working families, educators, and first responders by supporting policies that promote fair wages, expand access to affordable housing, and invest in essential community services.

Safety & Public Health
Johnny believes in building a safer, more resilient county by modernizing emergency services, expanding mental health care, and improving the criminal justice system with smarter reentry programs. He will prioritize both prevention and preparedness.

Increasing Access to Mental Health Services
Johnny supports expanding mental health resources across Hays County, especially in schools and underserved areas. He’ll advocate for funding to increase support staff and community-based services.
Promote Environmental Awareness & Resiliency
Johnny will organize and support community initiatives that educate residents about sustainability, conservation, and climate adaptation while advocating for responsible county planning policies.
Support Local Job Training Programs
Johnny will partner with local businesses and schools to offer job training and youth employment pathways, helping working families and young residents succeed close to home.
Strengthen Community Engagement
He will host regular town halls and community events across the precinct to ensure transparency and gather direct feedback from constituents.
